Casa Balaguer, Alicante, Spain

Meet Andrés Carull & Marta Ribera, the couple behind Finca Casa Balaguer, a natural wine estate rooted in history and driven by passion. The farm dates back to 1740, and winemaking here is all about one thing: maximum expression, minimum intervention.

Andrés discovered natural wine on a trip to Bordeaux, and it changed everything. He eventually took over from the legendary Rafa Bernabé, widely regarded as the father of natural wine in Valencia, farming 20 hectares biodynamically across two stunning sites: the high-altitude plateau of Villena and the coastal La Mata Natural Park.
Local grapes. Living soils. Honest wine.
